Introduction
Red Bluff Cottage
Red Bluff Cottage is a charming two-story raised Victorian Cottage nestled in Montgomery’s historic Cottage Hill District. Though built in 1987, it beautifully replicates the architecture of the surrounding late 19th-century homes, blending seamlessly into its storied neighborhood.
Perched atop one of the highest points in the city, Red Bluff Cottage was originally opened as a bed and breakfast by Mark and Anne Waldo. In 2001, it found new owners in Barry and Bonnie Ponstein, who continued its legacy of warm hospitality. In 2023, the property was acquired by Paul Hodges and now welcomes guests as a thoughtfully maintained short-term rental—offering historic charm with modern comfort.
